Camden South Public School is situated in the outskirts of Camden, neighbouring the tranquil Nepean River.
The School, has entered its 54th year of operation, being established in 1961 and still maintains a peaceful country atmosphere.
Camden South Public School is continually growing and has 785 children enrolled across 33 classes.
In 2013, the special education unit was expanded to three classes to cater for students with autism, enabling parents to have their children schooled in their local community. In addition to the newly formed support classes, the school has 30 mainstream classes and a regional gifted and talented class for students in Year 5 and Year 6.

The School prides itself on a dedicated staff and active school community that strives to give ample and diverse opportunities for students to learn in a motivating and stimulating environment.
