School Chant/ School Song

T.E.A.M

TEAM is an acronym for Taplin, Elder, Adams and McCall. These are the names of influentual people who once walked the streets of Camden and inspired change and ideas in the community.

At Camden South Public School we believe that sport should be inclusive, not exclusive. Even though we have four different house teams, we make a point of encouraging others and displaying good sportsmanship in all areas of school life.

 Whole School Chant

“Push!” says Taplin, “Go hard, go!”
That’s our motto, now you know
What you’re up against, be afraid
‘Cause Taplins stamina will not fade

He’s looked up to by many
A teacher, what a sight to see!
Just like him we will display
Satisfaction,  dedication every day!

Dedication, satisfaction everyday!
Just like Adams, we’re diverse
We stick together for good or worse
Jump, hop, skip, run, hit and score
What can we say? Could we ask for more?

Hear us rumble, hear us cry
Go McCall, reach for the sky
Up, down, left, right, round and round
See use improve in leaps and bounds

If you take the first letter out
of every name we’ve talked about
There’s a message Camden South does shout
United we stand, divided we fall-

TE A M

That’s a race worth fighting for.

School Song

Sing of school days,
Sing out loud,
Sing with us and say
We’ll serve our school be loyal and true,
at home at school and play

We’ll aim to do the best we can
Strive so earnestly
We’ll try to be a credit to
Our school and family.

So sing up loud,
Sing up and be proud,
Our school was meant for you and me
In our hearts it will always be

So sing up loud,
Sing up and be proud,
Our school was meant for you and me
In our hearts it will always be.
