Paul Kelly Cup AFL
Congratulations to the four Camden South teams that travelled to Kirkham Oval to play in the Paul Kelly Cup competition on Tuesday 19th March. All the teams played well and enjoyed the day.
An extra congratulations goes to one of our Camden South teams who were successful on the day and will progress to the regional finals next term.
Girls Cricket
Great win, Eliza Mallitt captaining the side well, starring with the bat scoring 34. Breanna Vinter chipped in with 5, Angela Pidgeon 3 and Niamh Gale 1. CSPS ended their 25 overs at 7/105. Camden South were always on top with the ball with Eliza Mallitt taking 1/6 off 5 overs. Breanna continued her good day taking 2/12 off 3 overs, Ashlie Archer took 3/17 off 4 overs and Angela Pidgeon 1/11 was the other wicket taker. An excellent win. The girls take on last year’s state champions Harrington Park in the next round.
Boys State Knockout Cricket
Congratulations to the boys cricket team who had a comfortable win over Mawarra in the first round of the State Knockout competition.
